Abstract
Supercritical water-cooling reactor is one of the advanced nuclear power plants as the fourth generation reactor of internationally recognized. The plant system design is once-through cycle, feed-water flow rate are provided from pressure head by pump through the reactor core became steam, and directly into the turbine. There is not a recirculation loop in this cycle, this is the the biggest difference from the current light water reactors. Because Supercritical water-cooling reactor currently in the conceptual design stage, the safety system configuration is similar with the ABWR, but also considering their own is the once-through cycle, there are some different safety system designs, therefore the security features of the reactor will also be different. Analysis supercritical water-cooling reactor safety system configuration and safety features in the reactor coolant flow non-normal conditions. Based on the comparative analysis with ABWR, we can get safety features and some exist issues of supercritical water-cooling reactor.
