  • Abstract
    One of specialties of Powerchip Technology Corporation is its Twin-FAB system. After this FAB went into its full operating, the capacity of Cross-FAB transferring became an obvious issue. The challenge we faced at the time was on how to expend the old transferring systems to meet the new needs but maintain its full operation. Therefore, the conveyor system was selected. After three stages of installations, this lowest-cost solution did become a success. After the competitions of these three stages, the overall capacity of crossing-fabs transferring increased 45%. And the average transferring time has reduced 23%. This result did effectively reach our target.
