Abstract
This work presents an approach to achieve self-healing on Transparent optical packet switching (TOPS) networks, such approach relies on a reinforcement learning (RL) algorithm. The idea behind this RL algorithm is that nodes can learn a policy to deal with changes due to failures or attacks. In this way a bottom-up self-healing behaviour emerges to overcome those changes.
