Abstract :
Circuit analysis of the wireless power transfer (WPT) system with one source and multiple receiving devices is presented. An equivalent circuit model for the WPT system with one source and multiple receiving devices is proposed and formulae for calculating the maximum power efficiency and the optimal loads of the receiving devices are derived analytically. The tuning scheme for optimising the WPT system is deduced and expressed in terms of empirical equations for load networks. The circuit analysis of the WPT system is validated by the experimental results and circuit simulations. The proposed circuit modelling scheme provides an efficient way for designing and optimising the multiple-device WPT systems.
