Abstract :
Circulating fluidized bed boiler (CFBB) develops quickly for a large range of fuels, rapid adjustment to load instruction and low-emissions. But its combustion system is sophisticated with large time-delay and multi-input multi-output coupling together, which make it hard to control. Based on analyzing an existing 2×2 transfer function matrix of the main steam pressure and the bed temperature, a partial feed-forward decoupling method is given to solve the coupling problem. And a new PI controller parameters tuning method is presented for the decoupled loops. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the decoupling and the control strategy.
