Abstract :
The Myron Zucker Travel Program provides financial support to qualified students to attend the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Annual Meeting. The program is intended to provide financial assistance to students who would not otherwise be able to attend the Annual Meeting. Preference is given to undergraduate or graduate students who are not presenting a paper at the meeting. Each student elected receives a complimentary student registration for the Annual Meeting that includes the conference record and tickets to the welcome reception, the Myron Zucker Luncheon, and the President´s Award Banquet. The students can also attend technical sessions and tutorials. Lodging at the conference hotel is also included for the duration of the Annual Meeting. In addition, students are reimbursed for up to US$600 of meeting-related travel expenses. The application for the Zucker Travel Program is available online.
