Abstract :
Advertisement: This presentation covers the Evolved Packet Core (EPC), a new all-IP mobile core network supporting LTE and other access networks to deliver new customer services as mobile data traffic rises. EPC, in conjunction with common IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) forms the converged core network supporting IP based consumer multimedia applications with QoS and policy, mobility across various access networks as well as common authentication/authorization, security and charging. Evolution of key legacy services such as voice and messaging to the all-IP converged core network are also addressed.
