  • Abstract
    The ship could be threatened greatly by the thunder and lightning. A susceptibility model according to the kill characteristics of the thunder and the point of fall distributing and the damage model according to the ship characteristics of protection against the electromagnetism are established. From the model we can conclude that the ship survivability is considerably relevant to the characteristics of the thunderbolt, the power density when arriving to the target, the covering area of the target by lightning pulse, etc.
