Abstract :
We consider finite-horizon LQR control with limited controller-system communication. Within a time-horizon T , the controller can only communicate with the system d <; T times. We present an explicit expression on the optimal control data schedule for unstable first-order systems and a class of higher-order systems. We also discuss when such a control data schedule remains optimal (or is near optimal) for general systems.
