Abstract
Presents an introduction of the paper. This paper presents examples of applications of multiple-precision arithmetic that have been reported in the literature over the past two decades. It may therefore be anticipated that multiple-precision arithmetic libraries will be an increasingly important research tool in the future. Multiple-precision arithmetic can be considered a new approach for tackling open problems in electromagnetics that remain unsolved due to the difficulty of the electromagnetics.
