Abstract
Predictive control based on mixed logical dynamical (MLD) model can be used as control strategy for hybrid systems effectively. Active fault tolerant control can safeguard the systems running normally, in the case of the damage of the part components in the systems. In this paper, active fault tolerant control based on MLD model is researched with actuator fault. Active fault tolerant control scheme is then applied to a continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR). Simulation results show the effectiveness of this fault tolerant MPC control.
