Abstract :
The variety of operation power and reactive power in UHV AC transmission is quite greater, and the control for voltage regulation and reactive power balance is more complex than other voltage level. The cooperation among different voltage level including UHV, EUV and other voltage level is more important for voltage regulation and reactive power compensation of UHV system. The detailed studies and related technical issues such as the operating characteristics, voltage regulation and reactive power compensation for UHV AV system during the development of the related standard is presented in this paper.
