Abstract :
Demand Response (DR) is a class of important interactive resources under smart grid environment. So, Assessing the DR potential is meaningful to the optimal allocation of resources. This paper designs the scenario and key assumptions reflecting the different stages of Demand Response, and proposes an assessment method aiming at different types of customers of DR projects. By using this method, DR potential in a regional power grid of China is assessed.
