Abstract
Large scale systems often generate a large number of transient signals when disturbances occur, so it is important to grasp the overall response of the system and identify distinct response. This paper presents an idea that utilizes Geometric Template Matching and QT clustering to grasp the similar response in order to reduce the volume of data needed analysis and to detect outliers. Finally, results are demonstrated using the IEEE 127-bus system and a real-world system model.
