Abstract :
The basic concepts for the power semiconductor magnetic-pulse devices effectiveness improving are described. The concepts are based on both own R&D summarized experience and previously known approaches. The paper includes several custom solutions and the most typical designs from available sources, such as: charging-storing nodes, impulse-compression nodes, power switches, which are altogether the circuit design fundamental elements for the magnetic-pulse devices as in a way of a separate node modifying as by means of the inter-nodes schematic. The reasonability for the functionality maximization of the nodes, the sections, the power switches and the devices in overall was shown. As a result one can significantly improve their reliability, weight and size, dynamical features, etc. The variety of the solutions allows choosing an optimal device configuration according to the task.
