Abstract
A method for emulating loads using a two-level inverter is presented and applied to a model system of a medium voltage grid. The current controller is obtained by input-output linearization and ensures trajectory tracking also during transients. For trajectory generation static and dynamic load models are implemented. Experimental results are provided showing the value of the results.
