Abstract :
Cervical cancer is the most common cancer among worldwide women. The initial cervical screening of cervical lesion is very important. In this study, a novel method for early cervical cancer detection based on piezoelectric immunosensor was proposed. The method proposed in this paper involved short analyzing time for p16INK4a detection, a protein that has been linked to cervical cancer. p16INK4a antibody was dripped on the center of the AT-cut crystal and supernatant from different clinical sample was also dripped on the center of crystal, Absorb of the p16INK4a by antibody caused a shift in the resonant frequency of the immunosensor and the resonant frequency was correlated to the amount of the p16INK4a in supernatant. This method can be a promising assay for the initial screening of cervical lesion.
