Abstract :
This paper has investigated the coexistence of RF signal transmission with optical OOK. Theoretical EVM has derived based on spectrum analysis. The theoretical EVM corresponds to the experimental results. It is observed that re-modulation of the optical OOK signal yields impact on each other resulting in service outage for 10 Gbps Ethernet link, and less dynamic range compared with an independent RoF link. However, the results show the both two signals can coexist and share single fiber channel without significant performance degradation.
