Abstract :
The performance of high-power photodiodes continues to advance, driven by needs such as those described here. Varied features of photodiodes determine the capabilities in systems applications, such as power handling, linearity and efficiency. However, these metrics are largely coupled and a single high-power device may meet the requirements for many different applications.
