Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new frequency weighted order reduction algorithm which is an extension of Sreeram´s technique [13] in conjunction with square-root balanced truncation [1]. The resulting reduced order models are stable for input, output and double sided weighting functions. A numerical example is incorporated to validate the proposed algorithm which shows the effectiveness over existing techniques.
