  • Abstract
    A dual wideband monopole antenna is presented for PCS, UMTS, LTE and WIFI/WLAN application. The proposed antenna comprises of sickle shaped radiator patch, rectangular shape slot in ground plane, and microstrip feed line. The Simulation results shows that it has good operating bandwidth of 53% over (1.8-3.1 GHz) and 0.5 GHz over (5.5-6 GHz) with reflection coefficient <;-10db. It has almost stable radiation pattern with gain varying from 2.6 to 4.6dBi in desired frequency band.
