Abstract :
We develop a novel approach to optimal broadcast scheduling for an energy-harvesting powered transmitter with a finite-capacity battery and non-ideal circuit power consumption. Relying on the convex optimization tools, the proposed novel approach provides a low-complexity algorithm to obtain the optimal transmission policies that maximize the weighted sum-throughput for multi-input multi-output (MIMO) broadcast channels. The proposed approach provides optimal benchmarks for all the practical schemes in energy-harvesting MIMO transmissions.
