Abstract :
The paper analyses the influence of surface magnetron modification by molybdenum on a number operational properties of rubber, such as wear resistance, elastic and strength, resistance to liquid corrosion influence. It has been conducted a detailed elemental composition study of the pressmark sample at the surface layer of the rubber. The developed technology of refractory metals magnetron sputtering promotes the improvement of rubber performance. The greatest increase in performance properties of pressmark rubber is reached at its modifying by molybdenum.
