  • Abstract
    In order to solve the problem that the finite element software is difficult to fulfill the simulation of complex surface turning, a new method was proposed. With DEFORM-3D software as the research basis, the movement control program of complex surface turning based on piecewise linear interpolation was developed. This program can fulfill the finite element simulation of complex surface turning by reading the tool location points. To verify the practicability of the model, the prediction of machined surface roughness was carried out.
