Abstract :
Superstructure fiber grating filter is presented in measuring Brillouin intensity, which is used to suppress the Rayleigh backscatter and separate the Brillouin signal by double-peak design. In this way, Brillouin-based temperature and strain sensor system is achieved. A temperature resolution of 5degC, strain resolution of 500 muepsiv and a spatial resolution of 15 m was obtained along a sensing range of 30 km.
