Abstract :
Blood pressure signal is a complex physiological signal under the influence of many factors. Characteristic extracting and analysis of blood pressure signal accurately is the precondition that ensures measuring precise. In order to solve this problem, wavelet transform is used to extract the characteristic of ambulatory blood pressure signal and a more precise relationship between cuff pressure and the arterial fluctuation amplitude is ascertained based on the Gaussian curve fitting. In addition, alterable coefficient depending on the scope of mean blood pressure is introduced to calculate systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure. The method improved by the approaches above is superior to conventional oscillometric method. Therefore, an embedded measuring and analyzing system of ambulatory blood pressure is developed based on such algorithm, by which the accuracy and individual compatibility of BP measurement is improved.
