Abstract
This paper introduced the concepts, functions, architecture, and key techniques of sensor networks, and analyzed the significance of the monitoring of the grassland and wetland humidity. In order to prevent the grassland and wetland to deteriorate desert, the monitoring of the zoology environment of the grassland and wetland become the most important issues. This paper presented the method of monitoring the humidity of the inner and surface of the soil of grassland and wetland by using the sensor networks, analyzed the communications and function model of the system. The sensor networks based grassland and wetland humidity monitoring system has more advantageous than the other system.
