Abstract :
According to the feature of measuring data, data processing method is discussed to detect surface defects on the sphere workpieces using numerical simulation technique. The idea that the datum surface formed from the datum line is proposed. The mathematical model of some error composing parts was established by analyzing operate process. Some feasible schemes of the data processing were introduced. Comparing the data processing results, the evaluation datum line of defect identification was chosen. And then the key techniques to ensure accurate measure were discussed. Simulation and experiment results show that the least-squares fit and the space low-pass filter are effective and reliable approaches for the defects detection.
