Abstract
A modified phase-only synthesis algorithm is presented for microstrip reflectarray design. An iterative projection method is adopted to obtain a prescribed radiation pattern, with excitation coefficients appropriately chosen according to the reflectarray complex design curve. Numerical validations on a 5.3 GHz 37/spl times/37 array are reported.
