Abstract
In this paper, a new frequency weighted balanced truncation technique based on Lin and Chiu´s technique is presented. The method using the properties of all-pass function provides a modification to Lin and Chiu´s technique to provide a significant weighted error reduction in the case of single-sided weighting function. The method is illustrated by numerical examples and is compared with other well-known techniques.
