Abstract :
In this paper, a three-dimensional implementation of the lumped-element Crank-Nicolson finite-difference time-domain (CN-FDTD) algorithm has been carried out. Several examples, i.e., lumped resistor, capacitor, and inductor, are simulated and compared with traditional finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. The accuracy of CN-FDTD for lumped elements in this paper has been demonstrated.
