Abstract :
Research data suggesting that some of the neurological effects of low-level microwave irradiation are mediated by endogenous opioids in the brain are reported. The effects studied included the actions of various phychoactive drugs and functions of the neurotransmitters and receptors. It is speculated that microwave irradiation is a stressor and activates endogenous opioids in the central nervous system
