Abstract :
Several methods to realize a single stimulus measurement of human evoked potentials (EPs) have been proposed recently. The reasons for the propositions are that EPs dynamically change together with spontaneous electroencephalograms (EEGs) as background activities of EPs, and the usual averaged method cannot determine the changes of EPs with time. Here, a single stimulus measurement of EPs when an electric stimulus is given to one tooth, is examined by a method which is constructed of two processes, moving polynomial differential calculus and its integral. Next, dynamic changes of EPs obtained by the single measurement are analyzed using cross-correlations among the EPs. Through trials and discussions, it is made clear that sequential EPs are divided into several groups, and EPs in the each group appear cyclically
