The world relies on cryptography protocols that are often over twenty years old and with the increase in generally available computing power it is becoming harder and harder to maintain a secure environment. This problem is further compounded with the introduction of smaller computing platforms that simply cannot run today´s security offerings. We especially see this issue with resource constrained or performance sensitive environments like radio frequency identification (RFID).
