  • Abstract
    A class-E oscillator based on the Motorola MTP3055E power MOSFET was analyzed, designed, built, and tested. The supply voltage was 4.5 V, while the output power was 1 W. The oscillator feedback network permits the use of MOSFETs with a high gate-source voltage. The efficiency and output power versus frequency, and the frequency versus the voltage supply were measured.
