Abstract
Concerns automatic fault detection and isolation (FDI). Many approaches have been proposed including observer based approaches and parity space ones. Some equivalence properties have been shown to exist between them for linear systems. In this paper, we discuss the equivalence between the observer and the parity space based FDI for state affine system
