  • Abstract
    Renewable energy production by pyrolysis is gaining greater interest. A 240AC is used to power up the furnace to heat up fixed-bed reactor. An analysis is important for the power consumption and total harmonics distortion on the specified pulse width modulated (PWM) phase control per cycle of the incoming 240AV supply. This paper is presented power consumption and total harmonics distortion that uses an integral cycle-PWM phase controlled converter with AC bi-directional IGBT switch. The different integral cycle-PWM phase is generated to the IGBT switch to heat up the open coils and the characteristic performance result of load power consumption is simulated. The bridge rectifier circuit is used widely for electric heating application, whilst offers a simplicity and reliability of efficiency power control.
