  • Abstract
    For a generic single input planar control system we are concerning with the set of extremals for the minimum time problem. We study some singularities of the projection of the extremals´ locus from the cotangent bundle to R2. The structure of this locus near the origin is showed in details and sufficient conditions under which it is a piecewise C1 manifold with boundary are given. Finally we give examples of cusp singularities that happen in presence of overlap curves of the optimal synthesis
