Abstract
The novel over-sampled chaotic map binary sequences (OCMBS) are introduced into CDMA. Based on this, we can construct the OCMBS in a simple way. The experimental results show that OCMBS have good property of auto-correlation function and cross-correlation function even though their initial values have a little difference; the balance property of the OCMBS is obviously a priori to that of the chaotic map binary sequences and improvement of SNR can be obtained.. The OCMBS are sensitive to initial conditions, and can be used for spread spectrum sequences with non-periodic, non-correlation, and quasi-random performances. The over-sampled chaotic map with several parameters can produce various families of PN sequences, so the OCMBS are good candidates of spreading sequences for CDMA, possessing high security
