Report from the 5th International Workshop on Radiation Imaging Detectors

The workshop is held yearly and provides an international forum for discussing current research and developments in the area of position sensitive detectors for radiation imaging, including both semiconductor sensors and scintillator based detectors. This workshop is the successor of the series of workshops on "Gallium Arsenide detectors and related compounds". Topics of interest include processing and characterization of compound materials suited for special applications, design of photon-counting or integrating pixel electronics, hybridization and interconnect technologies, readout systems and applications in fife science, as well as industrial and space applications.
