Abstract :
This paper proposes a design scheme of a sensor network based on M-Bus, according to the communication protocol and characteristics of M-Bus, and developed the special master/slave interface circuit of M-Bus. The sensor network is intrinsically safe, low power consumption, bus-powered, plug and play, and easy for system expansion. The sensor network is suitable for monitoring system which have numerous and wide distribution of the measuring points and many kinds of measuring physical quantities. Currently, the sensor network has been used by many mining applications.
