  • Abstract
    A novel reflectarray antenna using double square rings elements is designed and analyzed. The reflection phase variation of the double square rings element, whose dynamic range can reach 530°, is discussed for exact design of the reflectarray antenna. The resulting antenna shows good performance in terms of gain and bandwidth. Beam scanning characteristic of a 60-element reflectarray antenna is examined through simulation using the software Ansoft HFSS.
