Abstract :
This paper describes the matching and radiation characteristics of a series arrangement array antenna using two elements of linear tapered slot antenna excited by proximity coupling with a perturbed coplanar waveguide (CPW). The linear tapered slot antenna (EM-LTSA) has a feature, which can control the coupling strength between the feeding line and the radiator. As a result, the radiation pattern is unidirectional and the gain reaches 10 dBi, which is 2 dBi higher than a single EM-LTSA element. Therefore, it is shown that the EM-LTSA is valid for an element of the array antenna.
