Abstract :
The complex fault belt in Moga Oil Field of Fula depression in Muglad Basin of Sudan was used as an example to introduce structrual interpretation of complex fault system and planar combination of faults. Aiming at the characteristic of complex faults and the poor seimsmic data quality of the area, the comprehensive interpretation technologies, which include fine stratigraphic correlation, geologic horizon calibration, structural model establishment starting from the seismic-stratigraphic reality of the area, three-dimensional distribution of faults and the superimposition of fault polygons, were applied to make fine interpretation of faults and a good application effect had been achieved.
