Abstract :
This paper proposes a digital constant on-time control method for high switching frequency DC-DC buck converter, which eliminates the need for high resolution digital pulse-width modulator (DPWM) compared to constant frequency control. Both simulation and experimental results demonstrate performance improvement through the proposed off-time prediction method in terms of the oscillation amplitude of the output voltage.
