  • Abstract
Compared with conventional gas reservoirs, fractured gas reservoirs with high sulfur have their special technique in development, due to the hydrogen sulfur in the reservoir fluid and the possibility of element sulfur in formation. For example: the hydrogen sulfide is toxic and corrosive, the sulfur´s deposition in formation and well- bore, the closure of cracking, the formation of the hydrate in the well-bore, the anomaly of shut-in well head pressure, and the increasing content of H2S. Many specific characteristics of fractured gas reservoirs with high sulfur have resulted in many great difficulties in the development producing and transport of gas reservoir. On the basis of the summary about the geological genesis in high sour gas reservoir, this paper has analyzed the main controlling factors on the formation of these reservoir and the main deciding factors of the content of sulfur.
