Abstract :
A compendium of the basic outcomes, concerning the phase behaviour of a class of circular transmission lines, loaded with latching ferrite, magnetized azimuthally and propagating normal TE0n modes, obtained lately, is presented. The study consists of three parts. The first of them summarizes the general features of the geometries in question, while the second and the third ones focus on the peculiarities of the coaxial waveguide, entirely filled with the anisotropic medium referred to and of the double-layered structure, composed of a central dielectric cylinder, surrounded by a ferrite toroid, in case the values of the relative permittivities of the two strata are the same. The main result of analysis is that the change of the configuration and of the direction of magnetization are the most important factors that determine the kind (infinite or finite), the position, the limits, the form and the size of the area in which the TE01 mode might be sustained.
