Abstract
Health care and medical organizations utilize various management information systems and communication technologies to improve their service availability and operating efficiency to the patients, employ them to reduce administrative costs, and make organizations more competitive. In contrast to most of the existing health care solutions which require more investment and require the patient from having enough knowledge background to use them, we propose a novel and efficient solution in this paper to implement the low cost health care system by making use of the sensing system and wireless network-based technology. The system components related to such solution and implementation considerations are also studied. The benefits include easy to setup, use and maintenance; low cost to service providers and patients; and can achieve simple and reliable information accessing.
