Abstract
PUE attack refers to primary user emulation attack. In this attack, the malicious user will emulate the characteristics of the primary user signal, causing legitimate secondary users to erroneously identify the attacker as a primary user. To counter this threat, we propose a RSSI-based transmitter localization verification scheme, which using calculating the signal transmitter location to verify the signal is that of an primer signal. Simulation results show that this scheme is effective in identifying PUE attack under certain conditions.
