Abstract :
A sampled-data method for determining the frequency responses of DC-DC switching converters (SCs) within the fs/2 limit is proposed in this paper. The method is conceived to treat DC-DC SCs operating in any mode which involves internally controlled switching instants (ICSI), regardless of their number and location. The formulation of the method is based on the recursive use of the relation between the state at neighbouring switching instants within the switching period. Some examples of applications to DC-DC SCs are proposed, including the comparisons between the forecastings of the method, the experimental measurements and the results obtained by means of other techniques of analysis
